As the first Black woman governor of District 10, I'm wide-eyed, excited, and deeply honored to serve this district and the incredible people leading local clubs. I look forward to supporting each of you through your dreams, goals, and challenges, because it's hard to lead and create change without first having a vision. Many people ask me why I give my time to this. My answer is simple: time is the most valuable thing you can give, and I choose to spend mine with talented people in an organization that pulls you in, grows you up, and keeps you connected. AAF has become one of the most authentic communities I've ever been part of, and I am beyond excited to carry that energy into this next chapter.
Let's embrace being HAPPY together this year.

The Governors who came before me all warned me the year would fly by. I thought maybe they were speaking in hyperbole. They were not. I can't believe it's coming to an end, but I'm not going anywhere. I look forward to serving this district for years to come, starting as your Southwest Advertising Hall of Fame Chair next year. What a journey we've had over the past 12 months, and what an honor it has been to be your Governor. Thank you. I love you all.
