Wake Forest stuns 16th-ranked Louisville with a gritty 30-27 road win, fueled by Gio Lopez’s poised play and a dominant performance in the trenches. Are the Demon Deacons quietly emerging as an ACC contender despite flying under the radar? Julian Council and Kenton Gibbs spotlight Carlos Hernandez’s explosive day, Wake Forest’s revitalized ground game, and a defense that notched 9 tackles for loss and 4 sacks. Key moments include Louisville’s costly penalties, blown coverages, and questions about Jeff Brohm’s ability to instill discipline in a talented Cardinals roster.

Clemson picks up a third consecutive victory, shutting down Cal with a suffocating defense and a resurgent secondary anchored by Ashton Hampton. Can Dabo Swinney’s Tigers build on this momentum against Miami? The show also covers Virginia Tech’s gritty win over Boston College in stormy conditions and Stanford’s comeback over Georgia Tech. Troubling trends for Brent Key’s Yellow Jackets and lingering quarterback concerns for Cal take center stage as the hosts assess the ACC’s shifting landscape.
