  • Is It Intuition or Is It Fear?
    2026/08/16

Is It Intuition—or Is It Fear?

Have you ever wondered whether the feeling telling you to stop was your intuition or fear trying to protect you from something unfamiliar?

In this episode, Dawn explores why fear can sound like logic, responsibility, or even a spiritual sign. She shares how nervous system activation can influence our choices, why intuition does not work the same way for everyone, and how Human Design can help us better understand our natural decision-making process.

You’ll also learn questions that can help you recognize what may be hiding beneath indecision, perfectionism, procrastination, and the need for certainty. The episode concludes with a short grounding practice to help you create space between fear and your deeper knowing.

If you’re ready to explore the hidden fears shaping your leadership, decisions, and growth, join Dawn for Fearless by Design. Learn more at avibeabove.com/fearless-by-design.

  • What If the Person You're Trying to Improve Isn't the Real You?
    2026/08/02

How much of what we believe about ourselves is actually true?

Many of us carry labels we've accepted for years without ever stopping to ask where they came from. Over time, those beliefs can begin to shape the way we see ourselves, the choices we make, and even what's possible for our lives.

In this episode, I explore the difference between self-improvement and self-understanding, why we so easily identify with old conclusions, and how asking better questions can open the door to seeing ourselves in a completely different way.

    In this episode, we'll explore:

    • How experiences can shape the beliefs we carry about ourselves

    • Why labels often become part of our identity

    • The difference between self-improvement and self-understanding

    • How curiosity can help us revisit conclusions we've accepted as fact

    • A simple question that may change the way you see yourself

  • Who Told You That Part of You Was Wrong?
    2026/07/19

Who told you that part of you was wrong?

Many of us spend years trying to become who we think we should be, only to realize we've drifted away from who we truly are.

In this episode, I explore how the stories we create in childhood can shape our identity, why so many of us question parts of ourselves that never needed fixing, and how understanding ourselves through tools like Human Design and nervous system awareness can help us return to our authentic selves.

The journey isn't about becoming someone new. It's about remembering who you've always been.

  • The World Is Changing and So Are You
    2026/07/05
Welcome back to A Vibe Above. I’m your host, Dawn Ranieri, and today let’s talk about where we are heading. As we’re stepping into the second half of the year, I haven’t found myself thinking about goals, resolutions, or everything I want to accomplish over the next six months. My attention keeps coming back to something much deeper. I’ve been paying attention to people. The conversations I’m having are different. The questions people are asking are different. Even the energy feels different. More and more, I’m meeting people who sense that something is changing, yet they can’t quite put it into words. It’s almost as if we’re standing between two chapters. One is coming to an end, while the next hasn’t fully revealed itself yet.I don’t think this feeling is something to fear. In fact, I think it’s inviting us to become more aware of what’s happening, both around us and within us.The world is changing at an incredible pace. Technology is evolving faster than ever. Artificial intelligence is transforming how we work and create. Information is constantly at our fingertips, and every day we’re surrounded by more opinions, advice, more predictions, and more people telling us what they believe we should do next.Yet with all of this information available, something interesting is happening. Many people aren’t looking for more answers. They’re looking for something real. They’re looking for something that helps them feel connected again, not only to other people, but to themselves.I don’t believe that’s a coincidence. I think we’re entering a time where knowledge alone won’t be enough. Information has never been more accessible, yet wisdom, discernment, and self-awareness have never been more important. We’re being invited to think differently, to question more deeply, and to become far more intentional about whose voices we’re allowing to shape our lives. For me, this isn’t about rejecting teachers, mentors, or people we can learn from. Some of the greatest growth in my own life has come from learning from others. The difference is that the best teachers never ask us to depend on them. They help us discover something within ourselves that was there all along. And I believe that’s the shift we’re living through right now.The Noise Has Reached a Tipping PointI think one of the biggest challenges we’re facing today isn’t a lack of information. It’s the sheer amount of it.Never before have we had so many people telling us how to live, what to believe, how to build a business, raise our children, heal, how to find happiness, etc. Open your phone and within minutes you’ll hear countless opinions, strategies, and promises, all competing for your attention. The interesting thing is that while we’ve become more connected through technology, many people feel more disconnected from themselves. They’re overwhelmed, not because they aren’t trying, but because they’re constantly taking in someone else’s perspective before they’ve had a chance to hear their own.I’ve caught myself doing this too. You listen to someone you respect, and before you know it, you’re questioning what you originally felt. You wonder if you missed something. You start second-guessing your own instincts because someone else’s certainty sounds more convincing than your own knowing. There’s nothing wrong with learning from people who have experience. I’ve invested years learning from incredible teachers, coaches, and mentors, and I’m grateful for every one of them. They each offered something valuable that helped shape my journey. The difference is that I was never meant to become them, and neither are you.I think that’s where we’ve unintentionally drifted off course. We’ve become so accustomed to searching for answers that we’ve forgotten how to sit with a question. We rush to Google, AI, social media, podcasts, or the next expert before giving ourselves the opportunity to ask, “What do I actually feel about this?” That question has become incredibly important to me.Not because I believe I always have the right answer, but because I’ve learned that discernment is a practice. The more we exercise it, the stronger it becomes. We begin recognizing the difference between fear and intuition, someone else’s expectations and our own inner knowing, and between information that’s simply interesting and wisdom that’s actually meant for us.I honestly believe that’s one of the greatest invitations of this time. It’s not to stop learning but to become more intentional about how we learn. To gather wisdom without giving away our authority. To stay open while remaining deeply connected to ourselves. Because the world doesn’t need more people repeating what they’ve heard. It needs more people who have taken the time to discover what’s true for them and have the courage to live it.Coming Back to YourselfOver the years, I’ve explored a lot of different ways ...

    2026/06/07

How much of your personal growth journey has been fueled by genuine expansion, and how much has been driven by the belief that something about you needs to be fixed?

In this episode of A Vibe Above, Dawn explores the stories many of us carry about ourselves, stories that often began years ago and quietly shaped our beliefs, decisions, and sense of self-worth. From childhood experiences and social expectations to the pressure to constantly improve, these narratives can influence far more than we realize.

This conversation looks at the difference between healthy growth and self-rejection, why so many people spend years fighting parts of themselves, and how understanding who you truly are can create more freedom than endless self-criticism ever could.

Dawn also shares insights from her work with Human Design and why one of the most powerful shifts people experience is realizing they may never have been the problem in the first place.

  • Something Feels Off And You Can Feel It
    2026/05/24

Have you been feeling like something is off lately, but you can’t fully explain why?

In this episode of A Vibe Above, Dawn Ranieri explores the subtle but powerful awareness that many people are experiencing right now. This isn’t about confusion or a lack of clarity, it’s about the quiet signals your body and inner awareness have already been picking up on.

Dawn breaks down how disconnection from self often shows up in small, easy-to-miss ways, and why constantly looking outside of yourself for answers can deepen that disconnect. This conversation brings awareness to how your body processes truth before your mind fully understands it, and why learning to stay present with that awareness can shift everything.

This episode also includes a grounding moment to help you reconnect with what you may already be feeling, even if you haven’t fully acknowledged it yet.

    🌱 In This Episode:

    • Why something can feel “off” even when everything looks fine• How subtle awareness shows up in everyday life• The connection between the body and inner knowing• Why people override what they feel• What begins to shift when you slow down and pay attention• Reconnecting with yourself in a more honest way

  • You Already Know. You’re Just Not Trusting It Yet
    2026/05/10
Welcome back to A Vibe Above. I’m your host, Dawn Ranieri, and I’m really glad you’re here today.I want to have a bit more of a real, honest conversation today, because this is something that I see come up all the time. It’s something I’ve experienced myself more than once. There are moments in life where you’re faced with a decision, a situation, or even a feeling about something, and deep down, you already know what’s right for you. You may not have all the details, or even know how it’s going to unfold, but there’s something in you that feels clear in a way that’s hard to explain. It’s almost immediate, like a quiet sense of knowing that just lands. What tends to happen, though, is that we don’t stay with that knowing for very long. Almost right away, the mind steps in and starts trying to make sense of it. You begin to question it, you look for reasons why it might not be right, you try to gather more information, and before you know it, that clear feeling you had starts to feel uncertain. It didn’t just go away, it just got covered up by overthinking, doubt, and the need to make everything feel logical and safe before you move forward. Why We Don’t Trust ItTrusting yourself sounds simple when people say it out loud, but when you really sit with it, it can actually feel very uncomfortable, especially if you’ve spent years relying on external validation, needing certainty, or looking outside of yourself for direction before making decisions.A lot of people were never really taught to trust themselves. They were taught to trust authority, logic, trust that proof, trust what other people thought was the “right” decision. So when that inner knowing comes up, especially if it doesn’t fully make sense yet, the mind immediately wants to challenge it.There’s often this fear of being wrong, or making a decision that changes everything in a way that feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable. Sometimes trusting yourself means outgrowing a version of your life that once felt safe. It might mean disappointing people, changing direction, or stepping into something that other people around you may not fully understand. And that can create a lot of hesitation.Because even when something feels deeply right internally, there’s still a part of the mind that wants guarantees. It wants proof that things will work out before you move forward. It wants certainty before action. But life rarely works that way.So instead of acting on what you feel, you pause. You wait. You analyze. You replay conversations in your head. You ask five different people what they think. You look for signs, confirmations, or something external that somehow validates what you already felt in the first place. And while there’s nothing wrong with seeking guidance or support, there’s a difference between receiving insight and disconnecting from your own inner knowing completely.Because after a while, something starts to happen. You begin to feel stuck, not because you don’t have clarity, but because you’re not moving with the clarity that’s already there. That disconnect can create frustration, confusion, and even self-doubt. You may start telling yourself that you’re lost, that you don’t know what you want, or that you just need more time to figure things out. But many times, the deeper issue isn’t lack of clarity. It’s lack of trust in what you already know. And the interesting thing is that knowing usually keeps coming back.It shows up in quiet moments, in repeated thoughts, feelings, nudges, or situations that continue to pull your attention. It’s almost like a part of you keeps trying to guide you back toward something, but the louder the outside noise becomes, the easier it is to ignore it.I think a lot of people are experiencing this right now. There’s this feeling of being pulled toward something different, but at the same time feeling uncertain about acting on it because they want everything to make sense first. But clarity doesn’t always arrive as a fully mapped-out plan. Sometimes clarity arrives as a feeling before it arrives as logic. And learning how to trust that is part of the journey.A Different Way to Look at ItWhat if that knowing doesn’t need to become louder or more obvious for you to trust it? What if it’s already clear, and the shift isn’t about getting more information, but about learning how to listen to what’s already there?Because when you think about it, that first feeling you have about something tends to be the most honest. It hasn’t been filtered yet, it hasn’t been analyzed, or influenced by outside opinions. It’s just there. And the more you start to recognize that, the more you can begin to see that clarity doesn’t always come through thinking. For a lot of people, it comes through a sense of knowing, a feeling, or a quiet internal response that doesn’t need to be explained to be valid. The challenge is that many of us have been taught to trust what is...
