The fighting marked the opening of the American Revolution, with the "shot heard round the world" at the North Bridge becoming an enduring symbol of the conflict's beginning. Rick also reflects on his years interpreting this history at Minute Man National Historical Park, where this sacred ground is preserved and its history commemorated.
