This episode is about how sometimes we as people can expect things from others and thus hurt ourselves. You will learn that though it is not easy to expect things from others, and though it is a process, it is something that has to be done for our well-being. In expecting others to do things and be a certain way when they have already shown us who they are and that they aren't capable of showing up for us can affect us negatively when we aren't grounded in God.

Learning to trust God and expect God to show up for us is important.

The number 1 thing with learning how to not expect things from people is to rely on God completely because God never changes, and he remains the same while everyone else changes.

When we trust God, we learn how to not let people dictate our worth, our decisions, and to not share things that are important with others, when they have shown they are not capable of holding space for what we share.

This is was just a random, raw, spur of the moment recording to share something that was on my heart.

Ultimately, I hope my message can encourage others and point back to Jesus because at the end of the day its hard to weather the storms of life, including expectations of others without him .
