In this transition episode, I share a shift in the direction of It Makes Scents. Moving forward, I want the podcast to focus on creating a calm, reflective atmosphere that explores the deeper connections between scent and memory, seasons, nostalgia, and the little rituals that make everyday life feel meaningful.

This change has been inspired in part by my own personal health challenges, which made me slow down and rethink how I create, and by the wonderful response to the written La Olfactiva Field Journal, which will now complement the podcast’s evolved format.

You can expect more intimate conversations with perfumers, collectors, friends, and mostly just myself — not traditional interviews, but sharing moments, stories, and scented memories — as we continue to build a cozy, fragrant world together.
