The past few weeks have been an exercise in extremes. From the humiliating lows of the 7-0 loss in Vancouver to euphoric heights of the 0-6 shellacking of DC United, it almost feels like accounts have been settled and we're back in a familiar Supporter Shield-leading, MLS Cup-hoping place. And yet it did not come without a cost.
