Dommartini Salien, Sr. (aka Martini), is a first generation immigrant from the island nation if Haiti. He migrated to the United States in the late 80’s with his parents and younger brother by way of Miami, Florida. Martini completed K-12 in South Florida, and later went on to enlist in the U.S. Army as a logistics specialists in 2003. As an educator of almost 8 years, Martini strives to impact young minds through instilling self worth and connection to their roots and history in order to affect the changes they wish to see in the world they live in.
