On September 18th, Trump announced he was banning CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House, Trump invoked “national security,” again, as the explanation for the ban, CNN, MS NOW, and Politico have sued Trump, his communications director, the Secret Service director, and the White House chief of staff for violating the Fifth and the First Amendments, US District Judge Timothy Kelly, a Trump appointee, was assigned the case, Kelly previously ruled that revoking journalist Jim Acosta’s pass likely violated his due process rights, Trump has already vowed to appeal if he loses, The government has to respond to the lawsuit on Tuesday and a hearing is set for Wednesday, Major news networks are refusing to cover Trump on television, so there is no coverage from the White House, Trump, who has called journalists the enemy of the people, is trying to discredit any critical coverage of him or his administration.
