Is it NUJV or NVUJ?
Well it depends what side of the Atlantic you live on and if you own a Parlophone or Capitol records edition of Help! The Beatles 5th album released in the summer of 1965.
As with A Hard Day's Night 12 month before. This album was part film soundtrack album, part? Well, new material. It's easy to dismiss this album for that very reason. But it clearly is a stepping stone between the early 60's mop tops and the mid 60's serious, highly creative Beatles.
Now under the influence of Bob Dylan and the early West Coast scene, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, Ticket To Ride, the title track and Paul's solo recording Yesterday, demonstrate that John, Paul, George and Ringo were clearly on an upward trajectory.
