In this sermon, “A Clean Heart,” Pastor Isaac Hayes of Upper Room Fellowship Church looks at Psalm 51:10–12 and the story of David’s sin, repentance, and restoration. After his sin with Bathsheba and his confrontation by the prophet Nathan, David cried out to God, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” This message reminds us that no matter how far we have fallen, we can turn back to God, receive His forgiveness, and allow Him to renew our hearts and restore the joy of our salvation. We will look at David’s repentance, the danger of allowing sin to grow, the importance of keeping our faith in Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit, forgiveness, restoration, and the power of God to give us a clean heart. If you are struggling with sin, guilt, bitterness, anger, or simply feel distant from God, this message will encourage you to return to Jesus and trust in His finished work on the cross.

At Upper Room Fellowship Church, our focus is Christ and Him Crucified. We are a fellowship of believers dedicated to lifting up the name of Jesus and proclaiming the finished work of the Cross. Our mission is to equip the Body of Christ with the spiritual tools and biblical foundation needed to reach the lost and share the Good News of salvation.

We believe that true transformation comes through the power of the Holy Spirit and the message of the Cross. Through worship, teaching, and outreach, we seek to strengthen the faith of believers and empower them to boldly witness to the world around them.

Whether you are searching for a home church or simply seeking to grow deeper in your walk with Christ, we welcome you to join us at Upper Room Fellowship Church — where hearts are ignited, lives are changed, and Christ is exalted.
