With the Lord as my guide, my coach in the boxing ring that’s been this becoming process and podcast journey — I fought the best fight of my life and WE WON.

The devil tried to stop this. He worked hard to derail my becoming. And we know weapons may form BUT they do not prosper.

Answer: they both have to endure some sort of refining process before becoming the purified products we use to cook or enjoy a relaxing evening.

*raises hand* I know what that's like! I, too, have been experiencing my own season of refinement -- one of which takes me by storm at times but has been so instrumental to birthing the new and improved me.

Because I think it is imperative we jot down this definition of the word *control* -- "To have power or authority over an entity," says Google. "The distinct right or ability to govern, direct, or determine outcomes," the web also has it.

So, yeah. Considering the truth that my life is not my own and God's plan prevails always, I had to relinquish that thing. I had to release control and yield to a life of total surrender.
