As Martha and Kim finish up the "Fresh Start" series today, they invite you to join them at the table for a look at seasons of preparation and shifting. Do you notice when God is shifting the circumstances in your life, or when He is preparing you for a new thing?

Waiting is difficult, we would all agree, but our hope lies in the One who works all things together for our good. He wastes nothing and is always redemptive in his nature. Often we pray for the Lord's provision but can become weary in the waiting.

Sometimes the shift comes suddenly and the preparation time pays off. Like the King and the Israelites in 2 Chronicles 29, we want to be able to say:
"And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because God had provided for the people, for the thing came about suddenly." (2 Chronicles 29:36)
