Friday, October 23rd: In Episode 874 of The Daily Grind, John explores Romans 12:14–21 and what it means to overcome evil with good. Paul calls believers to bless those who persecute them, refuse retaliation, and pursue peace whenever possible. Leaving vengeance to God does not mean pretending that evil is harmless; it means refusing to let another person’s wrongdoing shape our character. Feeding an enemy and responding with kindness are deliberate acts of faith that interrupt the cycle of hostility. Choosing good does not guarantee that the other person will change, but it prevents evil from gaining control of our hearts. This episode invites us to trust God with justice while taking the next wise and loving step toward peace.
