Friday, October 9th: In the final episode, John brings the series full circle: grace saves us and shapes us. Paul insists, “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith… not by works, so that no one can boast.” But that’s not the end—“for we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” John unpacks the tension between grace and works, showing that good works aren’t the root of salvation but its fruit. God’s grace not only forgives—it recreates. Using imagery from the Greek word poiēma (“poem” or “composition”), John explains that every believer is a divine masterpiece—God’s living artwork displaying His love. Grace is God’s creative power still at work in us, turning broken sinners into agents of beauty and renewal.
