Wednesday, September 30th: Hebrews 13:15–19 shows us that worship is far more than singing inside a church building. Through Jesus, we continually offer God a sacrifice of praise—even when life is painful, confusing, or uncertain. Our worship also takes shape through doing good, sharing what we have, and caring for the people around us. Hebrews calls believers to cooperate with faithful spiritual leaders, who will answer to Christ for how they watch over His people. Those leaders also need our prayers for wisdom, integrity, courage, and endurance. Because Jesus offered the complete sacrifice for our sin, we can respond with lives of praise, generosity, faithfulness, and prayer.
