In this movie, Jerry Mulligan is a starving artist and American ex-GI living in, of course, Paris. He falls in love with a girl who happens to be dating his best friend all while being courted by a much wealthier woman who promises to fund his art. I won't spoil how it ends, but it's a movie that appears to be interested in the idea of what to choose between love and duty or comfort. It's also a jukebox musical featuring the works of George Gershwin, so a lot going on. That all said - how does it hit for the Brainrot crew?
