Some friendships are born in the most unexpected places. This one began in an online oracle card course, and it changed everything for both of them.

Sharlene shares two relationships that shaped her healing journey in very different ways. The first, a controlling partnership she found the courage to leave after having a baby, brought grief and relief in equal measure. The second, a nine-year relationship undone by alcoholism, ended by text. Between those two chapters she built something that mattered more than either of them: a life grounded in her own worth, her own intuition, and a community of women who saw her clearly.

That community began with Colette Baron-Reid's oracle card courses, where Sharlene met Michelle and their beloved friend Suzanne, who has since passed from a heart attack. The three of them grew together in ways that only women who have done the real inner work can understand.
