It’s been quite a while since we released an episode, and the Lord has taken me (Michael) on a journey since our last one in May. Failure, disappointment, and fear of the unknown are all things I struggle with, and all three have intersected in various ways in this latest season of life. Thankfully, the Lord is gracious and has not only brought me through this season but also helped me grow. I am learning to embrace life as seasons change and look forward to whatever God has in store next.
While I didn’t mention it in the episode, one of my favorite quotes captures this season well: “No man ever steps in the same river twice. For it is not the same river and he is not the same man.” — Attributed to Heraclitus
