Perhaps boosted by the success of "Gremlins", this moderately successful movie is perhaps the most memorable Small Creature Feature out of a small field of similar movies such as "Ghoulies" and "Munchies". Fuzzy little balls of hunger and destruction escape an space prison and land on planet Earth for a bite to eat but bite off more than they can chew in a midwestern town as intergalactic bounty hunters are in pursuit.
