Sally shares her own journey and explains why simply following your passion isn't always enough to create a successful course. You'll learn how to look at your passions, skills and gifts, assets and resources, and profit potential to determine which of your ideas has the strongest potential. Sally also walks you through practical GSD activities to brainstorm your ideas, identify the problem you want to solve, and start narrowing down your options. The goal for this first session is simple: choose your course idea and take imperfect action. You don't need to have your modules or lessons worked out yet—you just need to commit to the idea you want to build. Along the way, Sally also highlights the importance of community, confidence, and supporting others as you bring your knowledge and experience to the world. By the end of the session, you'll have a clear course idea to work with and the momentum to keep moving forward through the challenge.
