Have you ever caught yourself saying, “I'm just not disciplined enough. I'll always struggle with my weight. I can't seem to get my act together. Maybe this is just who I am.”
Maybe you've labeled yourself as an emotional eater, someone who can't stay consistent, or a woman who always starts over but never seems to make lasting progress.
And here's the thing: when we repeat those thoughts long enough, we start believing they're the truth about us. But, friend, what if the labels you've placed on yourself aren't what God says about you at all? What if the struggles you've experienced don't define your identity? What if your past mistakes, your relationship with food, your weight, or even the habits you've struggled to change don't get the final say in who you are?
Today, we're going to look at three powerful scriptures that remind us who we are in Christ. We're talking about being made new, being chosen and loved by God, and being called His own.
And I want you to think about what this means for your health journey, too. Because when your identity is rooted in Christ rather than your circumstances, your failures, or the number on the scale, you can begin approaching your health from a completely different place.
Instead of trying to change yourself because you believe something is wrong with you, you can begin making healthy choices from a place of knowing who you already are in Him.
So grab your Bible, settle in, and let's talk about who God says you are — and how believing that truth can change the way you live, the way you care for your body, and the way you move forward.
