Have you ever felt like you have to get everything right before you can finally feel successful?
You eat healthy. You work out. You drink your water. You make good choices. You're “on track.”
And then…you have dessert.
Or you miss a workout.
Or you have a stressful day and find yourself eating in a way you didn't plan to.
And suddenly, that little voice starts talking:
“Well, I blew it.”
“I need to get back on track.”
“I'll start again Monday.”
But what if the problem isn't that you need more discipline?
What if you've been trying to live your health journey from a place of perfection instead of grace?
Because here's the thing about perfection: you can chase it, but you can never actually catch it. And when you believe you have to be perfect, every mistake feels like failure.
Today, we're going to talk about what happens when you trade perfection for grace.
And I don't mean grace as an excuse to stop caring about your health. I'm talking about a grace that allows you to make mistakes without turning them into shame…a grace that lets you get back up without punishing yourself…and a grace that reminds you that your worth was never dependent on your ability to eat perfectly, exercise perfectly, or have the perfect body.
And most importantly, we're going to ground this conversation in God's Word.
Because 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that God's grace is sufficient in our weakness.
Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence.
And Lamentations 3:22–23 reminds us that His mercies are new every morning.
So what if you stopped trying to prove that you can do this perfectly…and started learning how to receive God's grace right in the middle of your imperfect journey?
Let's talk about what that could look like.
