When the Mind4Survival Facebook group was asked whether being prepared shrank their social circle, about half said yes and half said no. Many of them described the same thing, though. Their circle had gotten smaller. In this episode, I talk about where that narrowing comes from, including friends who dismiss preparedness, family who won't engage with it at home, keeping your preps private, and choosing to live farther away from people. I also talk about the prepper community you keep, how I help friends and family who don't prep, and simple ways to stay social when your circle gets smaller. For me, it's a trade worth making.
