Some of the most important decisions we'll ever make aren't about what we're going to do. They're about how we're going to think and who we're going to become.
Many people feel stuck in circumstances they don't like. They recognize problems at work, in their relationships, or in their finances, but they're afraid to do something different because of what might happen.
Sometimes we've become so accustomed to meeting other people's expectations, following instructions, or avoiding conflict that we don't recognize how much fear and pressure are influencing our decisions.
In this video, I explore three decisions that influence nearly everything else:
- What am I going to think?
- Who am I going to be?
- What am I going to do about it?
We'll talk about developing self-awareness, maturity, courage, and boundaries, along with learning how to communicate effectively, solve problems, and influence positive change—even when you're not the person in charge.
You don't need a title to be a leader. And you don't necessarily need your circumstances to change before you can begin making better decisions.
The goal isn't to control everything around us. It's to recognize where we have choices, understand our options, evaluate the risks and consequences, and make intentional decisions about how we're going to live.
