If you listened to Part 1, you already know that no amount of knowledge about narcissism will un-break your heart.
In Part 2, I want to take you somewhere deeper.
I want to talk about what comes after the research, after the therapy, after the EMDR sessions — after you have processed the trauma memories and your PTSD symptoms have quieted down.
Because that in-between place — that "what now?" moment — is where so many survivors get stuck. And it is where most recovery content leaves you standing alone.
The answer, I believe with everything I know as a researcher and as someone who has walked this road, is this: you heal narcissistic abuse through the nervous system. T
hrough reclaiming your body. Through learning — perhaps for the first time — to actually live inside yourself.
In this episode I talk about why trauma therapy is essential and non-negotiable — and I mean that — but also why it is only one part of the journey.
I talk about what it means to face your feelings rather than flee from them, why so many of us have spent years living in our heads instead of our bodies, and how the gentle dialogue you have with yourself is the bridge between the wound and the wholeness.
I also share something personal. A moment on a quiet weekend evening when I was sitting with my grief — and heard something in my inner ear that I have never forgotten.
You didn't come here to be held down by this. You came to overcome this.
That is what I want to leave you with today.
If you are ready for the next phase of your healing — when the idea of a better life ahead feels bigger than the weight of the past — visit me at transformintowisdom.com. I would love to walk this next part of the journey with you.
If this episode speaks to you, I would be so grateful if you left a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. It helps more sensitive souls find their way here.
