It's been a while, both since our last episode and since we recorded this one... (apologies in advance!)
The dust has settled on an intriguing, if somewhat dull, 2025/26 Premier League season. In this episode, we unpack how the first seven clubs fared (by alphabetical order).
Starting and spending the first third of the episode on our beloved Arsenal (well, at least for one of us), we discuss whether the Gunners deserve a lot of credit for winning the league or whether they won simply because most of the other top teams were so poor; the positives and negatives of the style of play Arsenal used this season; and, unbeliveably, whether Mikel Arteta is the right man to continue leading the club (this was only a point of discussion because one of us believes he isn't... and it's not the person writing this podcast description!).
The rest of the episode covers the ups of Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton, the downs of Burnley, and whatever the hell happened at Chelsea this year.
Stay tuned for Part 2, in which the performances of the other 13 clubs are analysed!
