But there's a difference between wanting financial stability and choosing someone primarily because of what they can provide.

Part One takes us beneath the designer clothes, expensive vacations, beautiful homes, and picture-perfect relationships to ask the questions people don't always want to answer:

Would you still choose them if they lost everything?

Did you fall in love with the person—or the possibilities?

When does financial security become financial dependency?

Can a relationship survive when one person's money becomes their power?

What happens when "I take care of you" becomes "I control you"?

And what does your desire for a certain lifestyle reveal about what you believe you deserve?

Because money can buy comfort—but it cannot manufacture connection.

And a beautiful life on the outside can hide a very lonely life behind closed doors.

What if your praise is part of your battle strategy?

Worship is more than what we do after the victory. Worship is how we respond while we're still in the fight.

When the enemy wants you focused on fear, worship shifts your focus back to God. When circumstances say, “It's over,” praise declares, “God is still in control.”

Jehoshaphat faced an army too great to defeat in his own strength. Yet God sent worshippers ahead of the warriors. Before the victory was visible, they began to praise.

They praised before the breakthrough.

Sometimes you have to worship while you're waiting. Praise while you're hurting. Trust while you're confused. Lift your hands when you don't yet see the answer.

Worship doesn't deny the battle—it declares that the battle doesn't have the final word.

Your praise reminds your heart:

God is still faithful. God is still fighting. God is still worthy. And I am still standing.

Don't let the enemy steal your worship because you're going through something.

Praise anyway.

Because sometimes the breakthrough doesn't begin when the situation changes.

Sometimes it begins when your perspective changes.

“I may be in a battle, but I will not surrender my worship.”

Life is a race, but it isn't about being the fastest. It's about finishing faithfully.

There will be obstacles along the way. There will be moments when you're tired, discouraged, distracted, or tempted to quit. There may be seasons when you look around and wonder why someone else seems to be getting ahead while you're still trying to find your stride.

But God didn't call you to run someone else's race. He called you to run yours.

Hebrews 12:1–2 (KJV) reminds us:

"Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..."

Your race requires endurance. You cannot carry everything with you and expect to finish strong. Some things must be laid aside—fear, doubt, unforgiveness, distractions, past failures, toxic relationships, and anything that keeps you from moving forward in God's purpose.

Lay down the weight. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Keep your pace. Don't quit.

There may be hills you didn't expect and valleys you never planned to walk through, but every step is developing your faith and preparing you for the finish line.

And remember: you don't have to understand the entire journey to take the next step.

This service will encourage you to keep moving when the road gets difficult, trust God when you can't see the finish line, and remain faithful to the assignment He has placed before you.

Don't compare your race. Don't compete with someone else's calling. Don't let one bad lap convince you to leave the race.

Your past doesn't determine your finish.

Your mistakes don't disqualify you.

Your setbacks don't have to stop you.

You are still in the race.

Come ready to be strengthened, encouraged, and reminded that God is not asking you to run perfectly—He's asking you to run faithfully.

Run when you're excited. Run when you're tired. Run when nobody is cheering. Run when the road gets hard. Run because the prize is worth it.

Paul declared in 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV):

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."

That's the goal—not simply to start well, but to finish well.

So lace up your spiritual shoes, release the weight, keep your eyes on Jesus, and keep moving forward.

The race is yours. The assignment is yours. The finish line is ahead.

Don't stop now. Don't give up now. Don't turn around now.

The battle may be real—but so is your victory.

There will be moments when everything around you looks like defeat. The enemy may attack your peace, your confidence, your relationships, your finances, your purpose, and even your faith. You may cry. You may become exhausted. You may question how much longer you can keep standing.

But never confuse being in a battle with being defeated.

A victory mindset changes the way you fight.

When you know who you are in Christ, you stop fighting for victory and start fighting from victory. You stop allowing the circumstances around you to determine what you believe about the God within you.

The enemy wants you focused on what you see.

God wants you anchored in what you know.

You may see the storm, but know that God is still Lord.

You may see the closed door, but know that God is still working.

You may feel surrounded, but know that you are never abandoned.

You may experience a setback, but know that your setback does not cancel God's purpose for your life.

Your circumstances do not have the final word. God does.

A victory mindset does not mean pretending the battle isn't painful. It means refusing to allow pain to convince you that God has lost control.

It means getting back up when you fall.

It means praying when you don't feel like praying.

It means praising when the answer hasn't arrived.

It means trusting when you don't understand.

It means standing when everything around you tells you to quit.

The enemy wants exhaustion to become surrender. He wants disappointment to become doubt. He wants delay to become discouragement. He wants one difficult season to make you believe your entire story is over.

But your story isn't over.

You are still standing.

And sometimes the greatest evidence that you are winning is that you're still standing after everything that tried to take you down.

Victory requires a different mindset. You cannot walk into a battle thinking like a defeated person and expect to live like a victorious believer. You must renew your mind, guard your thoughts, speak God's truth, and remember the promises He has already given you.

The question is not, “Will I face battles?”

You will.

The question is, “How will I face them?”

Will you face them with fear—or faith?

Will you face them with panic—or prayer?

Will you face them looking at the size of the problem—or the greatness of your God?

This chapter challenges you to change your position.

You are not fighting alone.

You are not fighting without weapons.

You are not fighting without purpose.

And you are not fighting for a victory that God has failed to provide.

You are fighting from a place of triumph.

So stand tall.

Lift your head.

Strengthen your faith.

Guard your mind.

There comes a moment in every battle when simply standing isn't enough. You have to fight back.

The Sword of the Spirit is the one piece of the Armor of God specifically designed as an offensive weapon. It is the Word of God, and when wielded with faith and understanding, it becomes a powerful weapon against deception, temptation, fear, doubt, discouragement, and every lie that attempts to challenge what God has spoken.

The enemy wants you to fight your battles with your emotions. God wants you to fight with His Word.

Jesus demonstrated this in the wilderness. When Satan tempted Him, Jesus didn't debate, panic, or retreat. He responded with Scripture. “It is written.” Every attack was met with the authority of God's truth.

This chapter challenges believers to stop keeping their Bible closed during battles and start putting God's Word into action. Knowing Scripture is important—but knowing how to apply it when the battle comes is where spiritual strength begins to show.

When fear says, “You're going to fail,” God's Word says, “I can do all things through Christ.” When the enemy says, “You're alone,” God's Word reminds you that God will never leave you. When shame says, “Your past disqualifies you,” God's Word declares that you are a new creation. When doubt says, “Give up,” God's Word says, “Stand firm.”

The Sword of the Spirit teaches us that we don't have to accept every thought, believe every lie, or surrender every battle. We have a weapon. We have a voice. We have the Word of God.

Through Scripture, reflection, and practical application, readers will learn how to recognize the lies coming against them and answer those attacks with biblical truth. The goal isn't simply to memorize verses—it's to become so rooted in God's Word that when the battle gets intense, the Word rises naturally from within you.

Your Bible is not decoration. Your faith is not passive. Your testimony is not powerless. And God's Word is not empty.

This is the beginning of the assignment.

There was a time when my past was the loudest thing people could see. The streets. The pain. The mistakes. The trauma. The things I did to survive. The chapters I wasn't proud of.

But God saw something I couldn't see yet.

Purpose.

He didn't waste my pain. He didn't throw away my testimony. He didn't disqualify me because of where I'd been.

He was preparing me.

Now I'm stepping into a different dimension of my calling—not just telling my story, but using what I've survived to deliver God's Word, encourage the broken, challenge the comfortable, and remind somebody that God can still use you.

Tonight we're asking the question:

🔥 Are you CALLED? 🔥 Are you CHOSEN? 🔥 Are you willing to be SENT?

Because being chosen isn't always comfortable.

Being called isn't always convenient.

And obedience will sometimes require you to tell the truth about the very places God delivered you from.

My testimony is no longer just my history. It's part of my ministry.

If God can take the woman they counted out and give her a microphone...

If He can take the broken pieces and build a messenger...

What could He do with YOU?

Come ready for truth. Come ready for the Word. Come ready for testimony. Come ready to R.O.A.R.

Because this isn't about Lady V becoming somebody.

It's about Lady V finally becoming who God called her to be.
