In this episode of She Sips & Sows, we’re going back to the very first verse of the Bible: Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

If God is the Creator and we are the creation, what does that actually mean for the way we live, make decisions, handle uncertainty, and trust God with our future?

We’ll dig into the Hebrew word bara, explore what it means that God is the Creator, and connect Genesis 1:1 to Isaiah 40:26, John 1, and Colossians 1 to see what Scripture reveals about Jesus as Creator.

Then we’ll bring it into real life: control, anxiety, comparison, identity, and the temptation to rewrite the story God is writing.

Because sometimes our desire for control is really fear in disguise.

You can only see the page you’re currently on. But the Author sees the whole story.
