The girls are talking... and this week, we're getting serious.

What starts as our usual chaotic girl chat takes a turn as we unpack some of the realities of being a woman today.

From the sexual assault allegations involving Cornell fraternity members to the ongoing fight over reproductive rights, we're asking some uncomfortable questions: Why are women still fighting to be believed? Why does accountability feel optional? And why are we taught how to protect ourselves instead of teaching others not to harm us?

We're talking consent, systemic failures, the fear that comes with raising daughters, postpartum care in America, and the exhausting expectations placed on women simply trying to exist.

This isn't our usual lighthearted episode. It's an emotional, opinionated, and necessary conversation about protecting one another, speaking up, and refusing to accept silence as the answer.

Because women deserve more than survival. We deserve safety, respect, autonomy, and a future where our voices matter.

Apparently, the girls are growing. Who allowed that? 💋

This week, we’re catching up on everything from getting back into running and finding ourselves outside of relationships to post-GLP life, burnout, gratitude, and learning how to actually enjoy where you are while you’re there.

Of course, none of that happens without a little chaos. There are cupcakes being rationed, a lawn chair that chose violence, questionable decisions, girls’ nights, and yet another carefully planned topic list that we barely touched.

But somewhere between all the side quests, we get into the real stuff: heartbreak, friendship, letting the people you love learn their own lessons, knowing when to give advice and when to just listen, and the mildly horrifying realization that maybe… this is growth?

Plus, we catch up on what we’re watching because apparently we remembered the list eventually.

It’s messy, funny, a little reflective, and basically another FaceTime call that accidentally became a podcast episode.

The girls are talking and… GROWTH. 💋

We had a list. We had a plan. We talked about… basically none of it. 😂

This week, the girls are quite literally just talking. From Costco runs and fruit that dies the second you bring it home, to gas disappearing way too fast, getting high, Dutch Bros encounters, random grievances, Mexican candy, kids, pets, and every possible tangent in between.

At some point we realized we had completely abandoned the episode plan — and honestly? That’s kind of the point.

These are the exact conversations that made us want to start 2 G’s & a J in the first place. No real agenda, no rhyme or reason, just two friends talking like they forgot there were microphones in front of them.

So grab a drink, get comfortable, and welcome to our FaceTime call. 🎙️💋
