When you’re facing hardship, pain, suffering, and the challenges of life, joy may be the last thing you think to pursue. Yet, the Apostle Paul wrote his letter to the Philippians from prison, reminding them of what matters most and showing them how to experience joy in every circumstance. While happiness often depends on what’s happening around us, Paul calls believers to fix their eyes on Jesus, our Prince of Peace, and the eternal hope we have in Him. Through Christ, we can experience a joy that isn’t dictated by our circumstances—a joy that remains regardless of difficulty, pain, and uncertainty.
