This week celebrated comedian, Sophie Garrad from UK, joins me to share how she transformed her past and turned trauma, endometriosis, and big feelings into a one-woman award winning sell-out Edinburgh Fringe show, and garnered over 100M TikTok views online.

We discuss women in comedy, the mind-body connection, therapy, EMDR, and using humour to heal.

We also explore:

* What it's really like being a woman in comedy, safety, and being taken seriously

* How Sophie unlearned male-centred comedy rules to find her own authentic female voice

* The mind-body connection: back pain, acne, stress, and stored trauma

* The role of therapy, EMDR, and journaling in healing and creativity

* Navigating social media, reviews, and competition in a tough industry

* Advice for shy, sensitive, or ambitious creatives who secretly want to perform.
