This episode dissects a research study that evaluated how well adolescent female soccer players retained improvements in knee abduction moment (KAM)—a key risk factor for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries—following a six-week neuromuscular training (NMT) program. One hundred fifty participants were categorized into low- and high-risk groups based on baseline biomechanics and underwent NMT sessions supplemented by different types of biofeedback.
