You know those days when you can't be bothered to be a mum? Literally everything feels like too much, it all feels too hard, and you would much rather collapse on the couch with some pancakes than deal with your own children? It’s those days where I always come back to my favourite guiding principle: NAIL. THE. BASICS. If you ran a pub, but you didn’t nail the basics (cold beer, good food, good atmosphere), it wouldn’t matter how much effort you put in - you wouldn’t have a good business. The same goes for mum life.
