In this EPISODE;
You're not failing. You're not lacking faith. You're exhausted, and no one told you what that would really feel like. In this episode, I get honest about caregiver burnout: what it does to your mind, body, and heart, and why so many moms get stuck in survival mode. You'll walk away with 3 ways to move from surviving to sustained strength, the Scriptures to return to when you're running on empty, and a 7-day challenge for relief and peace. You are more than your child's diagnosis. You are still a woman of God with purpose. WHAT EXHAUSTION REALLY FEELS LIKE - Mentally: a brain that never clocks out (appointments, medications, 3 a.m. what-ifs) - Physically: broken sleep, tension, getting sick often, running on adrenaline - Emotionally: numb one minute, tears the next, guilt, loneliness, and grief for the life you pictured WHY MOMS GET STUCK 1. Survival mode becomes your identity 2. You believe rest must be earned 3. Guilt wears a spiritual disguise 4. You've become the strong one, so no one asks how you are 5. You've lost the woman behind the mom 3 WAYS TO MOVE FROM SURVIVAL TO SUSTAINED STRENGTH 1. Reclaim Your Rest (Body): protect one 10-minute daily pause, name your minimums, let go of perfect 2. Release the Load (Mind): nightly brain dump, sort it into what you can do / Someone else can do it / What God can do Make one specific ask of someone close to support you. 3. Restore Your Identity (Soul): reconnect with one thing that's yours, speak your identity aloud, find your people MINDSET REFRAMES - "I have to hold it all together" becomes "God holds it together. I only carry today." - "Resting is selfish" becomes "Rest is obedience. A depleted vessel can't pour." - "I'm failing my child" becomes "I'm showing up with love, and that is enough." - "What if the worst happens?" becomes "I'll deal with tomorrow's grace tomorrow." - "I've lost myself" becomes "I'm being rebuilt, and God is not finished with me." Grounding practice: Breathe in and pray, "Lord, You are with me." Breathe out and pray, "I give this to You." Repeat three times. SCRIPTURES TO REFLECT ON - Isaiah 40:29-31 - Matthew 11:28-30 - Psalm 55:22 - Philippians 4:6-7 - 1 Kings 19:5-8 - 2 Corinthians 12:9 - Psalm 23:2-3 - Proverbs 31:25 THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: 7 DAYS OF SOUL RELIEF Each day: 1. One minute of breath prayer in the morning 2. One thing just for you (10 minutes) 3. One truth spoken aloud at night: "I am more than my child's diagnosis. I am a woman of God with purpose." Bonus: By day 3, ask one person for one specific piece of help. A CARING NOTE If exhaustion comes with persistent hopelessness, loss of interest in everything, or thoughts of not wanting to go on, that is more than tiredness.
