This week on GhoulTalk, Austyn and Repy dig up some of history’s most infamous remains — literally.
Austyn begins with the tragic and bizarre postmortem journey of Catherine Parr, the final wife of Henry VIII, whose body was repeatedly exhumed, desecrated, and discarded for centuries after her death. Then he heads to the California desert to unravel the unbelievable true story of Gram Parsons, the rock musician whose friends stole his corpse from LAX and attempted to cremate him in Joshua Tree with gasoline and a stolen hearse.
Meanwhile, Repy explores the strange afterlife of Argentina’s beloved First Lady Eva Perón, whose embalmed body vanished for years amid political upheaval, secret burials, and rumors of abuse at the hands of military officials. She also dives into the grisly fate of Oliver Cromwell, the English ruler whose corpse was exhumed, hanged, decapitated, and displayed on a spike years after his death as an act of political revenge.
From royal tombs and missing bodies to flaming hearses and posthumous executions, this episode proves that sometimes death is only the beginning.
