What’s up Gamers?!

John and Dean dig into the new Resident Evil movie—what it gets right, what surprised them, and why they think this adaptation stands out.

They break down the film’s survival-horror feel, its humor and gore, the lead performance, creature design, and the details that nod to the games without simply retelling one of them. The conversation also gets into the movie’s pacing, scares, and the choices that make its central character’s chaotic journey so entertaining.

Before the review, the hosts share gaming news and discoveries, including this week’s releases and free games, Discord’s security breach, GTA 6 leak news, Xbox’s plans for film and TV, game preservation, and a roundup of upcoming indie and horror games.

If you’re here for the Resident Evil discussion, jump in—but be warned, the movie’s plot and major moments are discussed in full.
