Building a business in 2026 feels different.
People are buying differently. Trust takes longer to build. Social media has changed. Many of us are carrying the emotional weight of our families, our communities, and everything happening in the world while still trying to grow our businesses.
In this episode, I share the five truths I believe every Latina and woman of color entrepreneur needs to hear right now. These aren't productivity hacks or marketing trends. They're the mindset shifts, leadership practices, and business strategies that are helping me and my clients build businesses that are sustainable, impactful, and deeply aligned with who we are becoming.
I talked about:
- Why exhaustion doesn't mean you're failing as an entrepreneur
- How your nervous system directly impacts your business growth
- Why trust has become the most important marketing strategy in 2026
- The role community plays in building a sustainable business
- Why your authentic voice is one of your greatest business assets
- How to move from survival mode into intentional leadership
- What it means to build a business that honors both ambition and well-being
1. Stop making your exhaustion mean you're failing.
Feeling exhausted doesn't mean you're failing. It may simply mean you're carrying more than ever, and it's time to build in a more sustainable way.
2. Your nervous system is part of your business strategy.
The way you regulate your nervous system affects your visibility, confidence, leadership, and ability to grow your business.
3. Trust is the new marketing strategy.
People don't just buy products or services anymore. They invest in people they trust, so lead with consistency, authenticity, and service.
4. Community is not a luxury. It's infrastructure.
Building alone is expensive. The right community gives you support, accountability, fresh perspective, and the capacity to keep moving forward.
5. Your voice is needed, but you have to stop diluting it.
Your people don't need a perfect version of you. They need your honest voice, your leadership, and the courage to say what needs to be said.
You don't have to build your business alone. If you're ready to spend a day surrounded by ambitious Latinas and women of color who are committed to growing, healing, and leading together, I'd love to see you at Yes Mujer You Can in Downtown Los Angeles on September 13, 2026. It's a space for powerful conversations, practical tools, and the kind of community that reminds you what's possible when women come together.
