For the Season 5 finale, the guys take a rare moment to look back at how NFA made it to Episode 125, why the podcast has become something neither wants to give up, and why shutting the studio door every week has become part conversation, part escape and part therapy.
Then Jeff breaks out another round of Stoner Thoughts, and any meaningful reflection disappears quickly.
Why do we say "tuna fish" but not "chicken bird"? Why are babies zero when they're born? Which letter is silent in "scent"? Why can't you hum with your nose closed? Were you actually watching your parents grow up while they were raising you? And what happens if a lethal injection… doesn't work?
It's reflective. It's ridiculous. It's completely random.
In other words, it's a fitting way to celebrate 125 episodes of No Fixed Agenda.
Thanks for being along for the first five seasons. Now tell us what—or who—you want to hear in Season 6.
NO AGENDA. NO B.S. JUST REAL CONVERSATIONS.
The “Stoner Thoughts” section really does jump from the serious to the absurd—from lethal injection questions to pregnancy, humming, knocking, tuna fish, spelling and growing up.
