“God doesn’t care about me.”
That thought can feel pretty convincing when the eating disorder is loud and you’re tired of trying. You know God is love. Right now, though, you feel alone—and “today is hard” starts turning into “I’m never going to get better.”
When eating disorder recovery feels this uncertain, what can you stand on? Let’s come back to Hebrews 13:8 and the difference between what you’re feeling about God and what you know about Him.
You don’t have to force yourself to feel hopeful before you press play.
🗓️ “I know what to do. Why can’t I do it?”
If fear of weight gain keeps getting in the way, come do some of that deeper work with me live.
My free Break the Fear of Weight Gain Workshop is November 10 at 11:00 AM Central. During our 45 minutes together, we’ll slow down and notice the thoughts behind the food noise, explore what gaining weight seems to mean to you, and bring those fears and beliefs under Biblical truth. You’ll have space to begin considering your next step. There’s a dedicated Q&A at the end.
Register for the free live workshop.
If you want personal help with the moments when you know the truth but struggle to apply it, book a Weight Gain Fear Breakthrough Session. In this one-hour, 1:1 session, we can take one of those moments from your week, explore the fear driving it, and identify one practical step you can begin practicing.
