If you’ve spent years bouncing between “being good,” restricting, overeating, starting over, and promising yourself you’ll do better Monday—this episode is for you.

I’m talking about why eating less and fearing food can actually keep the restrict-binge cycle alive, what changed when I stopped making food the enemy, and how I’m losing weight today without starving myself, cutting out entire food groups, or white-knuckling my way through it.

We talk about calorie deficits, movement, protein, urges, emotional eating, food freedom, setbacks, and the mindset that has completely changed my relationship with food and my body.

Because losing weight is one thing.

Learning how to trust yourself around food, take care of your body, and stop making every overeating moment mean you failed—that’s the work that changes everything.

And if you want help putting this into practice, I created Beyond the Scale, a free workbook filled with the six shifts that helped me change my relationship with food and my body, plus 45+ of the high-protein, filling recipes I actually eat.

If you’d like a copy, email me at coaching@allisongallagher.com and I’ll send it over. :)

I also invite you to The Power Project started September 1st. Come spend 30 days with me inside our Slack community where I’ll be dropping daily audios to help you stay aligned, move through the thoughts and patterns that derail you, and become the version of you who can create—and hold—the life you want.
