Last time, we explored the strange world of poltergeist activity, unexplained knocks, objects moving on their own, voices from nowhere, and disturbances that seem to appear around ordinary people.
But tonight, we're going deeper.
Because there are cases where the stories don't come from a single witness… or a rumor passed down through generations.
There are cases with photographs. Recordings. Police reports. Investigators. Witnesses.
And one of the most famous of them all took place in a quiet house in North London.
In 1977, the Hodgson family began experiencing something they couldn't explain.
Furniture moved.
Knocks came from inside the walls.
Objects appeared to fly across rooms.
And then came something even more disturbing…
A voice.
A voice that seemed to come from one of the children.
The events at Enfield would eventually attract police officers, journalists, paranormal investigators, skeptics, and believers from around the world.
Some would call it one of the best-documented hauntings in history.
Others would call it an elaborate hoax.
And somewhere between those two explanations lies a story that is still debated nearly fifty years later.
