Cleveland's young Black men are facing challenges that can't be solved with arrests, headlines, or social media debates alone.

In this episode of Cleveland With Cuz, I sit down with King Kareem of The Safety Unit to have an honest conversation about what's happening to Black boys and young men in our city, and more importantly, what can be done about it.

We discuss the root causes of violence, the influence of social media on today's youth, the lack of positive guidance and mentorship in many neighborhoods, and why so many young Black men feel disconnected from civic engagement and the political process. We also talk about the role Black men must play in helping raise, guide, and support the next generation.

King Kareem shares insights from his work with The Safety Unit, an organization focused on violence prevention, intervention, mentorship, and helping young people navigate challenges before they become tragedies.
