Join Terry Collins and Murphy Fair for another edition of The Box Score, DTC Sports’ weekly high school football talk show! With nine weeks down and just two weeks remaining in the regular season, Terry and Murphy break down the playoff picture and Week 9 high school football action across Middle Tennessee.

Recaps include Watertown securing a vital 14-7 victory over Cascade to clinch a playoff spot, Cannon County picking up a big 39-9 road win over Warren County behind another strong performance from Corbin Garrett, and Trousdale County topping Monterey 31-0.

This week’s episode features two in-depth interviews as teams prepare for high-stakes late-season matchups:

• Adam Cain, head coach of the Upperman Bees, discusses his team's steady growth through injuries and roster changes, working with young players, and preparing for a massive region showdown against undefeated White County.
• Steve Bray, long-time PA voice, assistant, and field caretaker for Smith County High School, reflects on his decades of dedication to the Owls program, maintaining the field, working alongside his press box crew, and memorable moments over the years.

Finally, Murphy shares his expert predictions for key games across East, Middle, and West Tennessee, and the guys preview Friday night’s featured DTC Game of the Week as Smith County hosts Tellico Plains.
