Rain transforms the world into a place of shadows and whispers—a perfect backdrop for the stories that linger in the dark. A solo camper meets a friendly stranger at a secluded lake, only to discover his intentions were far from friendly when he leads him into the woods to find an abandoned RV, a rusted door swinging open, and two figures giving chase through the dark [citation:3]. A woman returning from a walk finds a car parked in front of her house at night, only to discover the stalker has been inside her home, moving past her bedroom camera as he hunts her [citation:6]. A man camping in an RV is woken by a knock at 2 AM from a man asking for water, while multiple figures stand hidden in the dark behind him [citation:8]. And in a chilling story of coincidence or twisted fate, a woman is targeted by a stalker who watched her from afar for years, only to encounter him again decades later, trapped in a parking lot with a mystery that refuses to be solved [citation:10].

In this chilling hour-long episode, we bring you the most disturbing true horror stories for a rainy night. A young woman working a night shift in North Carolina goes to take out the trash and discovers a man behind the dumpster, knife in his teeth, dismembering a victim [citation:9]. A group of teenagers at a sleepover are forced to hide as a man in a hospital gown breaks into their home with a butcher knife [citation:9]. A woman exploring an abandoned psychiatric hospital discovers disturbing messages on the walls—"sadness," "sorrow," "death"—and a crazed-looking man in the hallway [citation:11]. And at a rural Illinois Airbnb, a mysterious woman appears outside the window, asking for help, repeating her request with a smile that never reaches her eyes [citation:4]. These are the true stories of people who found themselves in situations they couldn't explain, in the quiet hours of the night when the rain falls and the shadows grow long. You may never feel safe in the dark again.
