WHAT HAVE MARKETING AND LOVE GOT IN COMMON? (not what you think!)

A rather apt topic for Valentine's day

The only 'dating' show I actually watch and enjoy is First Dates. It's brilliant!

A bit of an occupational hazard working with mindset and belief systems is I analyse people....I can spot things based on conversation or body language

Sometimes the people on there are really awkward or uncomfortable in themselves or they act cocky or overly confident and I always wonder what happened for them to be like that...??

Anyway going back to marketing

When I'm working with my clients with the intention of growing their holistic health business past 6 figures, we ALWAYS look at their marketing and whether it's on fire.....or a bit like First Dates.....it's what they 'think' people want to hear.

When people are looking for love, and you see this on the show, they often act in a way that they think is 'favourable'

Or they hide their quirks as they think it's be too much

Or they present to like things in conversation so the other person likes them better

And then they wonder why they keep attracting the wrong type or they aren't finding 'the one'

It's because they aren't being ALL OF THEM or fully letting their guard down to be seen for all that they are.....quirks and all

And this is where it's exactly the same in marketing

Understanding WHO you are here to help is important as we want our content and message to be RELEVANT to that person..

...AND you can also let your guard down and no longer pretend to be a version of yourself that you think is more 'dateable'

Otherwise you are in danger of attracting people who aren't committed, aren't looking for anything serious, don't get you and aren't on the same page as you.

And those are NOT the clients you are here to truly help, right??
