Do you ever feel like you never quite measure up as a mom?
Have you ever looked around at other moms and quietly wondered “Why can’t I be more like them?”
Comparison has a way of convincing us that we're falling behind, not doing enough, or somehow missing what everyone else seems to have figured out.
In this episode, we'll answer the question, "Why do I feel like a failure as a mom?" Together, we'll uncover the lie behind comparison and discover how the Father's voice gently redirects our eyes away from measuring ourselves against others and back to Christ—where our identity, worth, and confidence are found.
Scriptures MentionedRomans 8:29: For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

Conversation with the Father
Spend a few quiet moments with the Father this week in an area where you feel like you’re failing.
Pause. Take a breath. You do not have to rush past what you’re feeling or try to make it sound better. Simply be honest with Him.
- Where do I believe I’m failing?
Write down what comes to mind without judging or correcting it.
- Father, what am I comparing myself to?
Is it another mom? An expectation someone placed on you? A picture of motherhood you created in your own mind?
- Father, what are You saying to me instead?
Sit quietly and write down what He brings to your heart.
- Open His Word.
Spend time with Him. Listen for His voice, and allow Him to redirect your eyes away from comparison and back to Christ.
Remember, Mama…
You don't have to strive your way into becoming a better mom.
Stay grounded in who God says you are.
Until next time... stay grounded, Mama.
