I sat with Jo Drennan, a first-time author whose book found me at exactly the right moment 🕊️. Her work, 'Embracing the Invisible, The Hidden Cost of Staying Strong', grew from a question I couldn't stop turning over in my own heart - how much of who I am is actually who I learned to be. 🌿 I listened as Jo shared her three-year journey of writing, the fear that showed up as cold sores on her lips, and the moments she distanced herself from the people she loved most, only to find her way back through softness and honesty. I felt every goose pimple as she spoke about a women's circle where she finally let go of shame she'd carried since her teens, and was met with nothing but acceptance 🤍. We spoke about triggers, old patterns, guilt, and the quiet, tender joy that comes from truly being seen. I recognised so much of myself in her story, and I'm grateful I got to hold space for it. ✨
