Welcome to Broken But Redeemed — the podcast where we’re not afraid to go there. 🔥

I’m Erika — grateful believer in Jesus Christ, wife, mom, business owner — and someone who’s walked through brokenness and found freedom in God’s redeeming love.

Here, nothing’s off the table. We’re tackling the conversations most avoid: sex, purity, identity, gossip, forgiveness, fear, abortion, marriage — the real-life struggles that hit inside and outside the church. Believers, non-believers, sisters in Christ… this is for all of us.

Every episode is raw, unfiltered, and anchored in Scripture. 📖 Because opinions won’t heal us — God’s truth will.

So grab your coffee, bring your questions, and lean in. This is Broken But Redeemed — where truth meets grace, every story matters, and every heart finds hope. 🎙️✨🎧✨

💬 Welcome to Season 3 of Broken But Redeemed 🎙️! I'm your host, Erika, and today we're tackling a topic that many believers grapple with: why we should reconsider celebrating Halloween. Join me as I share my personal journey of conviction that led me to reevaluate the traditions surrounding this holiday. We'll explore Halloween's historical roots, its spiritual implications, and what Scripture says about engaging with darkness.

In this episode, I reflect on how my understanding of Halloween shifted after a powerful moment of clarity from the Lord, prompting me to make bold choices for my family. Together, we’ll discuss the cultural narratives that often downplay the significance of our choices and how we can instead celebrate the light in our lives.
