Healing Family, being gifted can sometimes create pressure to say yes to everything we know how to do.

But capability is not confirmation.

You can be good at something and still need to pray about whether it belongs to your assignment right now.

📖 1 Peter 4:10 KJV reminds us that our gifts are meant to be stewarded. And stewardship requires more than ability—it requires direction, discernment, timing, and wisdom.

Tonight we’re talking about the difference between:

• being gifted and being assigned

• opportunity and obedience

• availability and overextension

• calling and season

• visibility and actual fruit

Because every open door is not automatic proof that God told you to walk through it.

🔥 Being needed is not the same thing as being assigned.

🔥 An open door is an invitation to discern—not automatic proof of direction.

🔥 Sometimes a holy “no” protects a God-given “yes.”

And this is the truth I want us carrying from tonight:

As you listen, ask yourself:

What am I gifted to do?
What am I actually assigned to do right now?
Where have I become overextended simply because I’m capable?
What deserves a more intentional yes from me?

Healing Family, we do not have to prove our usefulness by carrying everything.

We can pause.
We can pray.
We can discern.
And then we can move in the direction God actually gives us. 💛🦋
